    Definition of responsibilities

    Responsibilities are absent or poorly articulated, resulting in significant uncertainty regarding the intern’s role and expectations.

    Responsibilities are outlined with moderate clarity, providing the intern with a general understanding of expectations but lacking sufficient detail for full confidence.

    Responsibilities are thoroughly defined and clearly communicated, enabling the intern to grasp expectations with confidence and approach their role with purpose and effectiveness.

    Experiences offered

    The tasks outlined are insufficient and provide little opportunity for the intern to gain meaningful or well-rounded experience.

    The tasks provide a moderate range of experiences, allowing the intern to develop skills and insights, though the overall scope lacks depth or breadth.

    The tasks encompass a strong variety of experiences that are thoughtfully structured to deliver a comprehensive, well-rounded and enriching internship opportunity.

    The project presents little to no challenge, offering minimal opportunity for the intern to develop or apply new skills and does not align well with the internship’s time frame.

    The project presents a reasonable level of challenge, encouraging the intern to develop and apply new skills while fitting appropriately within the internship’s time frame, though opportunities for growth may be limited.

    The project offers a strong and purposeful level of challenge, thoughtfully designed to encourage the intern to develop and apply new skills. It is well-suited to the internship’s time frame and fosters substantial professional growth

    Mentorship and guidance

    The project lacks meaningful opportunities for mentorship or guidance, leaving the intern with little access to learning from experienced professionals.

    The project provides some opportunities for mentorship and guidance, allowing the intern to learn from experienced professionals, though the scope may be limited.

    The project is thoughtfully structured to provide strong opportunities for mentorship and guidance, fostering a supportive learning environment where the intern gains valuable insights and skills from experienced professionals.
